Benjamin’s two decades in the television and media industry has helped him gain a diverse set of skills, from producing and editing, to lecturing and consulting. They have been applied across a wide variety of genres and formats – including documentaries, sports, drama, trailers and advertisements. Benjamin served four successful years as BHP’s Post Manager before his promotion to Head of Post & Technology, a role in which he is responsible for all aspects of post-production, camera equipment and IT; including managing and training BHP’s post-production and camera store staff, the quality control of programme deliverables, the maintenance and troubleshooting of all post-production and IT-related issues, as well as the expansion of the company’s post-production facility. Benjamin plays an integral part in the development of new ideas by ensuring the company embrace new technologies and stay on the cutting edge of innovation; working with the latest content creation tools, such as Generative AI. Some of Benjamin’s achievements include being the pioneer post producer for the ZOOMOO Channel, delivering over 80 hours of Content. As an Editor, Benjamin was credited in several prominent shows including CROSSINGS: JOHN WOO (Discovery), CROSSINGS: JOAN CHEN (Discovery), MEGASTRUCTURES: THE DUBAI MEGAMALL (Nat Geo) and DIVINE DELINQUENTS (Nat Geo). Benjamin was also a Producer/Editor on TV commercials for brands such as Carlsberg, Bonia, Sony and Nestle. Benjamin started his career at MediaCorp’s Caldecott Productions International as Executive Editor and is a THX-certified colour calibration specialist.
