Benjamin “Mr Miyagi” Lee is one of the founding fathers of Singapore’s online space, wreaking havoc and compelling content for the last two decades. A “platform-agnostic” storyteller, he has since lent his expertise to helping brands and organisations communicate effectively through every platform and touchpoint available to them.
Benjamin is a firm believer in couching facts and information in story-driven narratives, which have proven to be key drivers in effective communication and brand growth. Clients across various verticals such as DBS Bank, Singapore Airlines Group, Volkswagen, as well as many brands in the FMCG realm. Most of the Singapore public sector, non-profit organisations and Government ministries have benefited from his approach in strategic and tactical communications as well.
Recent campaigns and projects include helming “Catch”, the content arm of the National Arts Council, and producing Let’s Begin, a first-ever documentary about the next generation of cabinet ministers of Singapore, and another key first – reframing the recruitment campaign for the Prime Minister’s Science & Technology Policy & Plans Office, known as CTRL+Shift.
What helps is Benjamin’s knack for being a “story archeologist” with an ability to sniff out any story related to a particular organisation or person that can form elements of a narrative that burnishes any communications objective and influence.
Benjamin is excited to be on board the Beach House Pictures Group, and in particular, leading Beach House Labs and Space Lion Studios as the de facto content-led brand storytelling partner for organisations in the private and public sectors.
