Abram Sitzer
Head of Content
Abram has spent the last 20 years in Asia producing and showrunning some of the most successful docs and series in the region. As Head of Content, Abram works with Donovan, Jocelyn and the other heads of department to oversee BHP’s slate. Prior to joining Beach House Pictures, Abram was Head of Content at Relay Video, where he led an international team in the conceptualization and execution of unscripted series like MAROONED WITH ED STAFFORD, docs like RETURN OF THE CHEETAH, VR projects like SURVIVING AFRICA, and award-winning branded projects like FINDING LIGHT IN THE DARK.
Preceding this Abram was the Director of Content at Discovery Networks, overseeing a portfolio of brands across both linear television and digital platforms, assisting in the network's digital transformation through streaming partnerships and co-productions with Europe, and America. In 2015, Sitzer moved to Shanghai to open the regional contet hub for R/GA, a leading New York advertising agency, where he led the APAC team to complete projects for clients including: Beats by Dre, Nike, Converse, Coca-Cola, and General Electric.
In the last decade Abram has produced over 200 documentaries and his work has been recognized receiving 6 best documentary awards, and over 25 nominations for best documentary. He holds a Master’s degree in History, and is fluent in Mandarin, and Spanish.
