Ice Cold: Murder, Coffee and Jessica Wongso

1 X 90 MIN | 4K | Produced for Netflix

ICE COLD is an engrossing true crime feature documentary that plays out in the streets and C-Suites of Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia – one of the most dynamic and fast changing countries in the world. The film examines a case that has gripped audiences across Asia and Australia – and is now presented to a global audience for the first time.

A rich and well connected young woman is murdered in plain sight. Her best friend is tried and convicted of her murder after a frenzied trial. But questions remain. Was the world saved from a psychopathic killer – or was an innocent woman sent to jail to protect a powerful family?

On one side is the heartbroken family of MIRNA SALIHIN, the 27-year-old woman allegedly poisoned by a cup of iced coffee, laced with cyanide. On the other is the outraged defense team of JESSICA WONGSO, who remain convinced that Jessica was wrongly convicted of her friend's murder.
