The company joined forces with critically acclaimed documentary maker NHNZ in 2008
and is now part of the NHNZ group of companies, which include offices in New Zealand, Australia, China and the US. BHP is also a majority stakeholder in a Taiwan-based BHP branded production company.
BHP is a multiple award winner and nominee internationally (Best Lifestyle Show – 2011 Asian TV Awards, 2012 New York Festivals Awards – two Silver Medallists and three Finalists) and has brought some of the world’s greatest travel experiences to the screen with Lonely Planet’s Roads Less Travelled (Nat Geo Adventure, Travel Channel) and Stressbuster (Channel News Asia, BBC Worldwide).

New Media describes forms of media that include some aspect of interactivity, mainly video games, websites and mobile phone and tablet applications. Beach House Pictures has the creative muscle to produce original content for these platforms and often incorporates any or all of these new media forms when producing a television series.

Our intimate knowledge of Asia and extensive network in the region has enabled us to act swiftly and effectively for clients. BHP is equipped with Avid Symphony and Final Cut Pro editing suites for 2D and Stereoscopic 3D post-production, as well as the Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve colour grading and finishing system. We also stock in-house Stereo 3D and HD camera gear that include 3D rigs, Sony and Canon professional HD camcorders, Canon 5D SLR cameras, Go Pro HD Hero cameras, Ion Air Pro Plus HD cameras, Glidecam rigs and various lighting kits.
